ATTLEBORO – Even after winning their first two games of the 2019 Pre-Draft Showcase, the Roc City Elite Young Guns made a lasting impression as they decimated the Long Island Jawz 12-0 to wrap up their pool play slate a perfect 3-0-0 on Saturday morning at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro.
Roc City came out hard from the start, notching seven in the game’s opening half, which included a natural hat trick by Matt Bielinski.
Though their 7-0 lead coming out of the halftime break was more than enough, Roc City went on to add five more to their score in the second frame to completely solidify their win.
A total of 10 different Roc City players made entries into the scoring column, Bielinski lead the way with five points (4G, 1A). Luke Day contributed a game-high four assists, while Kyle Neudorf (2G, 1A) and Benjamin Wallace (1G, 2A) each went off for three points.
Connor Hasley and Kohl Reddy combined to posted the shutout in the Roc City net.
