CANTON – With the first day of play at the 2022 Pre-Draft Showcase starting to wind down, the Boston Jr. Blues went for a 6-4 win over the NH Knights at the Canton Ice House.
Neither side could gain any real advantage over their foe in the contest, the first half ending with just a slim, one-goal advantage for the Blues at 2-1.
The total goal scored went from three to seven in the game’s second half, but still neither side got away from the other. Three for the Knights and four for the Blues turned Boston’s one-goal advantage at the end of the first into a two-goal advantage at the end of the second, and a 6-4 final.
Joe DiMartino (2G), Oliver Morris (1G, 1A), Connor Sutherland (1G, 1A) and James Hooley (2A) were each credited with a two-point game for the victors, while Jake Inzirillo was credited with the victory in the Boston net.
