CANTON – Bloom Hockey has secured their spot in the 2025 Pre Draft Jr. A playoffs, finishing the preliminary round a perfect 3-0-0 following an 8-3 route of the Salt City Prospects on Saturday evening.
While Bloom eventually ran away with it, they did not do so until the second. The first half ended with just a slim, 3-2 Bloom advantage.
Out of the break, Bloom poured it on. They struck five times in the latter stanza while netminder Aidan McGuinness yielded just one to close out the 8-3 victory.
The Bloom offense saw five different goal scorers and six different players credited with multiple points in the contest. Deklyn Campbell (3G, 1A) and Bodie Marcotte (2G, 2A) led the offensive assault, each with a four-point showing. They were backed up by multipoint games from Noah Bath (1G, 1A), Mavric Chan-Miguel (1G, 1A), Spencer Thompson (2A) and Miller Kay (2A).
Logan Allen, Anthony Valeriote and Griffin Halecki were each credited with a goal for Salt City.
