BRAINTREE – As the first day of play closed out at the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase, the Salt City Prospects closed out their Jr. A game against Eclipse Prospects in fashion. They ran away in the second half for a 5-3 victory at Thayer Academy.
Things were tight in the first, a half that saw Eclipse come away with a narrow 2-1 margin. Luke Geiger and Jonah Bird credited with the scores for Eclipse, while Justin Thies had the Salt City goal.
While Alejandro Apud put away one more for Eclipse, Salt City hit their stride in the second half, tallying four scores for the victory. James Tilley, Brock Forrest, Robert Simmons and Sam Bresson each with a goal for the 5-3 Salt City win.
Each Salt City goal came from a different scorer, while Brendan Krawczyk’s two assists led the game in scoring.
