NEPAHL Alum ranks no. 1 goaltender amongst North American prospects

Last season he was the youngest starting goaltender in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Last month he was one of the starting goaltenders at the Don Cherry Prospects Game in Toronto. Now he is the no. 1 North American goaltender according to Central Scouting for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, scheduled for June 22-23 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Before it all, however, Alexis Gravel was at New England Pro-Am Hockey’s 2016 Pre-Draft Showcase, playing for a Canada West team that went a perfect 3-0 in round robin play and gave up a total of just seven goals in that span.

This season, playing for the Halifax Mooseheads, Gravel has appeared in 34 games, posting 17 wins (which matches his total from last season in 50 appearances) with a 3.41 GAA. He is currently projected as a second or third round selection.
