FOXBORO – The 2025 chapter of New England Pro Am’s Pre Draft Showcase got going on Friday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center. The tournament’s opening round slate of games kicked off with a 2-1 South Shore Kings (Green) victory over the Hitmen (White) in Jr. A division play.
It started with a first half that both began and ended even on the scoreboard as each side netted one in the opening frame of the tournament. Mason Shea had the first half tally for the Kings, while Mattias Allan put the Hitmen on the board.
The tied score remained until 5:19 of the second half when Quinn Pine put the Kings in front with the eventual, 2-1 game winner.
Goaltender Eddie Gatch was credited with the win between the South Shore pipes.
