Snipers clip AD, 5-4.

ATTLEBORO – Snipers Choice took home the College Open win when they defeated AD Advising 5-4 on Saturday afternoon at the New England Sports Village.

The game belonged to Snipers, but the first half belonged to AD, as they took a 3-2 advantage into the intermission. It was back-and-forth throughout the frame with Sean Atkinson, Blake Mitchell and Oliver Majesky doing the scoring for AD, while Evan Zaris and Dylan Updike were credited with a goal apiece for the Snipers.

Snipers Choice matched their foe’s three first half goals when they put up three of their own in the second. Zaris and Updike each had another, while Leo Daggett joined his teammates in the scoring column.

AD could not keep pace. A power play goal from Atkinson accounting for the only time they struck past winning netminder Kevin Ahern and the 5-4 final.
