CANTON – One game, one win thus far for Reider Hockey at the 2022 Pre-Draft Showcase. They kicked off their tournament slate on Friday morning at the Canton Ice House by doubling up the Boston Bulls, 4-2.
It was a tight game through one, both sides netting a score to make it 1-1 at the intermission. Connor Stokes tucking one away for Reider, AJ Palermo doing the scoring for Boston.
Reider pulled away in the second half, however, to take control of the game. Josh Potenti, Emil Strandberg and Charles Allen each with a score. Boston got a goal late from Nooa Lamburg, but that is as close as their comeback came.
Stokes and Allen led the game in score, each with a goal and an assist. Devon Brown was credited as the winning netminder.
