ATTLEBORO – The first Pre-Draft game slated for Saturday at the New England Sports Village went down in favor of the TH Pioneers. They posted a 3-0 shutout victory over the Eels in College Open play.
Much of the game’s first half was played scoreless on the play of goaltenders Blake White of the Pioneers and the Eels’ Justin Blake. A late goal by Nick Salzano broke the scoring and set the Pioneers on their path to victory.
Out of the break, a power play goal by David Cerny and one from Dane Sciarabba rung up the Pioneers’ goal total, while Summer Wood came on in place of White to shutdown the Eels’ attack from the Pioneers’ net and keep the advantage at its 3-0 final.
