 Dan Garneau is pleased with his line up that he was able to forum this year to be playing at the Pre Draft Showcase. Leading the way for the Tigers is 20 year old D Justin Devencentis of the Milton Ice Hawks OPJHL squad. Last season Justin scored 7 goals and added 25 assists to finish tied 6th in the OPJHL for D in points as well as leading the league in PIMS with 206. Devencentis has been described as a quarter back specialist on the power play. He is a pure offensive D man that has a canon of a shot from the point and not afraid to take chances and jump in the rush. Although is he known for his offensive abilities Justin is a very difficult Dman to play against. Earning his PIMS teams think twice about paying the price of standing in front of the net when Justin is on the ice.

Nicholas Anderson may be one of the biggest sleepers for this years NHL draft. Anderson has been playing Junior A since the age of 14 where he played part of the season over in Sweden then was later drafted by the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL. This kid has all the tools to be a high end professional player. SIZE, SKILL and heart is what scouts talk about when you hear about Anderson. Nick is looking to play Major Junior this season. Not every 6’4 kid can skate like him and then you through hands, shot, heart, and tough to play against in the mix and you have the total package. Nick Anderson has NHL size, NHL hands, highly level of skill who loves to play the game physically quoted from Willie Desjardens Assitant Coach Dallas Stars. Mike Beharrell Coached Nick as a 14 year old also believes that Nick has all the tools to play at the highest level.

 Lukas Sladkovsky is a highly skilled 96 born forward from the Czech Republic. Sladkovsky is looking to stay over in North America to purse a NCAA scholarship. Big frame Winger stands at 6’2 and 185 pounds. Lukas has been recruited by the Czech national under 17 team for the World Under 17 Championships. Highly skilled winger with a pro shot already. This young Czech forward has the ability to change the game with his great play making ability and reads the game extremely well for a 16 year old.

Greg Soltes is a 92 born Centre that was the Capetian for his West Palm Beach Hawks in the EJHL South this past season. Greg has already generated several NCAA interest for the following season. Soltes will be looking to play one more year of Junior before he heads to the NCAA. Some people believe that Greg is one of the hardest working player in the game to date. He was named Captain for a reason. Never say die attitude and do anything for the team comes to mind when mentioning Soltes. Not the biggest player standing at 5’10 195 pounds, but plays a good two way Centre role and contributes in every aspect of the game.

Billy Vida is a young 94 born D that just finished his first season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the St Albert Steel. Two years ago Billy was a 16 year old playing Jr B for Banf Bears in the Heritage Junior B league in Alberta. With two years of Junior under his belt Billy is looking to play NCAA for the up coming season. Vida has been best described as a tough D to play against by punishing his opponent night after night. Plays the body well and makes a great first pass. Many scouts have noted that Billy has shown huge improvements on his skating over the past year and should be able to play College hockey for the up coming season.
