WALPOLE – Gotta Hockey recorded their second Jr. A division win of the 2023 Pre-Draft Showcase when they defeated Edinger’s Edge 4-1 on Saturday at Rodman Arena.
The scoring was slow in the first as netminders Jared Treat for Gotta Hockey and Edinger’s Alfie Jefferis turned aside most rubber sent their respective direction. Only a Jacob Bryceland bid was able to find its way into the back of the net and gave Gotta Hockey a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Offenses struck in the second, particularly on the Gotta Hockey side as they put an additional three goals in their scoring column. Andrew Mack, Jake McGonagle and Gabe Reis all joined Bryceland as Gotta Hockey goal scorers in the contest.
Riley Morton went down as Edinger’s goal scorer, beating Treat with a tally around the midpoint of the second half.
