FOXBORO – CWE Red notched their first win of the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase in style on Friday morning. They laid a 6-1 beatdown on JDM Sports Blue at Foxboro Sports Center.
It was all CWE from the hop, racking up a 3-0, halftime lead. Stepan Skvirsky, Moritz Lackner and Cameron Morris credited with the goals.
JDM did find the scoresheet in the second half – a goal by Ray Janik – but it was still much of the same. CWE found the back of the net three more times in the latter frame to solidify the win. Morris again, Michael Deforel and Tristan Delia credited with the scores.
Addison Lawrence and Orosz Gergely were credited with splitting the netminding duties for the victors.
